Here it is. I know you have been anxiously awaiting it. Here are the images of the pins in Jen's thumb. I am sorry Kenny, we do not have the X-ray of the injury we are going to try to get a copy of it.So the day started off just fine. We got up there early and checked in fine. Then the pre-op nurse talked to us and she seemed nice enough, until she got the IV needle in her hands. Holy crap she was horrible at IVs. She first tried to stick Jen in the hand ON THE SIDE THAT THE BROKEN THUMB IS. We kind of asked her and she blew us off. She got it stuck in a valve or something, but instead of pulling out she decided to excavate in Jen's hand with the needle. It was fantastic. Jen was hurting so bad. I have seen plenty of IV sticks and this one made me almost pass out (mostly because it was Jen and I felt so sick for her). Then after about a 10 minute journey she realized "Oh, I shouldn't even be doing it on this side." DUH!
Then we proceeded to sit there for approximately 2 and a half hours before she got carted in. It took so long that I had to go so I could get to work. It was so pathetic. It was fine that we had to wait, but it would have been nice to know why we were waiting. Dr. Huisch then took her in and she was done with everything in like 20 minutes. It was great. I heard about all of it over the phone.

Jen, I don't know how you injured your thumb, but it must have been awful if you had to have all those pins put in. We send get-well wishes from all of us!
I'm sorry, I should let you know that "debbie" is Aunt Deb, Uncle Randy Lamb:)
