Blackpool

So after the Belfast fiasco we caught a ferry the next morning. It took about 8 hours to get to Liverpool. Once we got there we started towards Blackpool. Its was about a 2 hour train ride. Blackpool is where my Grandma was born. She grew up in a little town called Little Singleton so we wanted to check it out. Blackpool is the nearest city so we stayed in a little Bed and Breakfast. Nicest place we stayed the entire trip I think. Blackpool is basically like a Las Vegas but not sleazy if that makes sense. Cool place. The next morning we made the venture out to the family farm.
Blackpool...pleasure beach
Family farm. About 20 acres. So beautiful. Little Singleton is now a very pricey place to live. We loved it so much there we came home and looked at home prices and the cheapest place we saw was 500,000 pounds which is almost a million dollars! That was for like 2,000 sq ft. The houses are all so cute!
So this isn't the house my great-grandfather built its down the alley to the right of the house you can barely see it in the picture. Anyways we couldn't get down there, oh well we will try another trip! It was so cool to be here and go to the cemetery where a lot of my ancestors are buried.
