After all of the other fun that we had, we went to the temple site for the new Vancouver Temple. It was amazing to see the construction so early on. The site is going to house not only the temple, but also a new stake center and a home for the Temple President and his family. The church bought like a ten acre parcel of land and so they have plenty of room for this work. The Vancouver Temple is apparently going to be a medium size temple.

Adventures In Canada (Day I Cont'd)
After the adventure in Capilano we swung by one of Josh's old apartments. The missionaries in the Langley area lived in the basement in a member's home. The members, the Cardno's were at home getting ready for one of their daughters weddings. The scene was beautiful and the reception will be amazing. They showed us a photo album of all the missionaries that had served in the area and it was funny to see Josh as a greenie as compared to now. They were incredibly nice and the missionary apartment was a standard missionary apartment, but shocked Jen and her mother as to the size and the general cleanliness of it. Both Josh and I thought it was really pretty clean, but they thought it was pretty disgusting.
