Whew! Another grueling week. I had two physics test and I feel like no matter how much I study its just useless. It really sucks and it makes me hate people like Marc who just understand this stuff. Ugh. So yeah this week was spent waking up really early studying before class and then going to class and then going to work and coming straight home to study. How fun. I think the thing that makes it so crappy is that this is stuff I don't care about if it was something to do with design I would be much more happy to spend so much time. Anyways moving along.
Our Valentines day was pretty relaxing. We spent the morning at Marc's cousin Taniel's sealing. It was so special to be in the temple on Valentines day together. After we ate at Goodwood with Marc's parents and had a lot of fun. We then went home and took a two hour nap together it was the most fabulous thing ever! I hardly see Marc that much. You know you are in love when all you want to do is take a nap together. Marc cooked me a great steak dinner that night that was delicious. It was a wonderful day together.
I'm getting anxious for March to arrive to find out if I got into the Architecture program, Marc assures me I am a 'shoe-in' but I think there are a lot more applicants this year and I'm wondering if they will take an architecture undergrad over me. Who knows I am obviously hoping to getting in but if not my life will go on.
As for Marc's situation he had one interview but we haven't heard from any other schools. This has been the most emotionally draining ordeal. The whole thing is just weird. Marc has two degrees, a great MCAT score, and 3.7 GPA which is probably a little below average but his upper division physics classes were brutal, he has done 2 years of research, physician shadowing, and a decent amount of volunteer stuff. Anyways neither of us expected to be in this situation, but alas here we are the Lord knows whats best for us. So he is in the process of making some decisions, I think he is leaning toward getting a medical physics PHD from the U. It would be really awesome they basically pay you to go to school and there are very few people going into this area so there is some great potential. So we will let everyone know if there are any new developments!

I am excited when all of this applying for Med school is done too! Have you heard back from the U??? If you haven't that's good, no news is good news from them, they always wait till the last minute! Good luck with everything, it is so hard! Cory takes the MCAT in March...we will be in the same boat next year.!. Good luck with your schooling too, sound brutal, but you are brilliant!!!
