It's Official!

Well I'm really scared and excited to say that I got into the Masters of Architecture at the U! I ran around the house screaming with Marc and then I sat down and said "I'm scared" to which Marc busted up laughing!

Just yesterday I got a letter that was super scary stating I had not met the prerequisites (which I am taking right now) and to apply again next year. I seriously wanted to cry. I emailed and called all sorts of people to see if I could get this straightened around. They usually have around 50 applicants for 10 spots and I thought for sure they had already accepted their ten people already and I was out of luck.

Well they called me this morning to confirm that they were really impressed with my portfolio and that they would rewrite my acceptance letter. I'll for sure take a picture when I get it. Apparently my letters of recommendation must have been good I was surprised to be accepted, but then again I am a woman and there is a serious shortage of females in the architecture world.

So yeah that's the story now I just have to figure out how to pay for this! As Steve Carell would say "Put it on my tab!"
