I'm so anxious for the warm weather to come that I have been doing everything in my power to encourage it...I got my summer hair, bought some short sleeve shirts, washed the car, pulled out the sunglasses, and best of all we started the seeds that will soon become our garden! We have been looking forward to growing our own garden since we moved in. We are basically ready at this point except for the dirt.... that will be a big job. It will be roughly 10 x 15' and we (when I say that I hope everyone knows I really mean Marc although I do a fair amount of consulting :) have been doing lots of research. Here are 72 of the plants we are starting from seed including two kinds of tomatoes, two kinds of lettuce, carrots, beats, eggplant, beans, peas, watermelon, 2 kinds of squash, peppers, cucumbers, and lots of herbs. We also bought our starts for our raspberry and blueberry bushes as well as lots of flowering plants to attract the bees! We cant wait for April to come to we can go out and plant all this stuff. Nothing feels better than growing your food...hopefully we can get something to grow! Yeah for summer!!!

Wow! You guys are awesome. We are planning on doing a garden this year too but you have a way head start on us. I'm stressed out about it because I have no idea what to do!!! Help me! :) -danelle
