Cat + Water = WWIII

When Yarn came in last night from playing outside I was surprised to find her looking like she got poured on by rain. Her fur looked wet and was ruffled all over the place. However, when I walked up to pet her I was surprised to find she wasn't wet at all! She was covered in grease or oil of somesort. It was all over her! After we got done laughing we decided we couldn't let her just clean herself, she would get sick. We came to the awful decision that we needed to put her in the sink and rinse her off. We got her in just long enough to rinse her with water, before she clawed her way out of both our hands. Of course when she dried she was still gross, so we came to the even more awful conclusion we needed to wash her with baby shampoo! This time she knew what was happening and would have none of it and me and marc have wounds to prove it! We did after awhile get her all washed and she looked like a little rat, so cute! However, I think more water ended up on us then on her.

Doesn't sound like you'll be doing much cat bathing in the future! Wonder what she got into?

you guys are BRAVE souls! I would NEVER put my cat in water for fear...that she would slit my throat in my sleep!
