Body Worlds

We finally got around to going to the Body Worlds exhibit this weekend. It was absolutely amazing! We had to wait an hour in line but it was definitely worth the wait. They had all the organs (healthy and nonhealthy) that you could view as well as complete muscle systems and tons of other amazing stuff. My favorite part was the fetal development section. It showed the process of a baby developing at each week of pregnancy. It was the most incredible thing I have ever seen!!! Marc's favorite part was seeing all the synthetic joint replacements. He was surprised to find they were much different than he was expecting. Looking at the hip replacement made my hip hurt so bad. I hope I never get that experience. One of the most disturbing things was seeing the lungs of a healthy person compare to a smoker. I don't know why anyone would keep smoking after seeing that! After leaving me and Marc were filled with awe at the miracle of the human body and we are glad to have the knowledge that there is only one thing responsible for such a miracle.
