Lindley Farm

Today we went for a fun visit with Grandma and Grandpa Lindley. Grandma just had surgery on her shoulder and Marc's parents were going up to help them fix a few meals. We invited ourselves along for the fun, and enjoyed the nice Sunday drive up to Smithfield. Grandpa's stories were hilarious as usual, the best one though was while he was principal of North Cache middle school. There was a girl who was causing trouble (she was the rough type with piercings etc.) so grandpa Lindley brought her in and gave her a stern talk that he thought was pretty good. After he turned to his assistant principal and asked if he had anything to add. He said yes and then said..."Do you ever get any snot caught in that nose ring?" Grandpa Lindley said he could have about killed him. He also told many stories about his football days in the CFL. It was so much fun to see them, and Grandma Lindley is so tough you would never know she had surgery a couple of days ago. The most painful part for her is not being able to help with fixing dinner and such. She is such a sweet spirit, never has a mean thing to say about anyone. Before dinner we went out to the farm to look around and meet someone who was buying bales of hay. Here are some pictures from our fun day...and an adorable picture of farm fun in the past!
